October 2010 - faster tunes after the break

← previous ↑ top → next

After our customary beer and raffle break we started with Rogue's March and The Month Of May, followed by a bit of head scratching as we realised that this is the same as Michael Turner's Jig. Then we played The Tip Top Polka, MichaeI Turner's Waltz, L' Inconnu De Limoise, Father Kelly's Jig,The Morpeth Rant, Old Morpeth Rant, Click Go The Shears, Le Canal En Octobre, Motorway Mazurka, Dingle Regatta, Cumberland Waltz, The Drunken Parson, The Sloe, Great-North Run 86, and Hesleyside Reel. Some of us then played the fairly tricky Morgan Rattler, Sally Sloanes, Atholl Highlanders, The History Man, Mrs Saggs, Road To The North, and Nancy Clough, before most of the remaining players finished with Scan Tester's No 2, and Scan Testers No 1.
